Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Subject goal: application of forecasting of enterprise economic development in the field of management and planning activities, trade relations and evaluation of mining industry projects. Knowledge and skills: knowledge of basic prognostic methods and their utilisation on the enterprise level. Ability of development analyses with target of finding trend and mechanism of this development.
Content orientation: importance of forecasting, forecasting in mining industry, forecasting of own enterprise development and its business partners development.

Summary
Subject familiarizes with role of forecasting in the course of historical development and with importance of forecasting in decision making process and in managerial process. It presents four basic groups of forecasting methods. Subject introduces results of most popular predictions.

4. Long term forecasting, megatrends.
5. Methods of forecasting, basic structure.
6. Forecasting based on subjection opinions.
7. Forecasting based on quantitative approaches.
8. Forecasting based on systematic approaches.
9. Application of forecasting methods on forecast develop of enterprise.
10. Forecasting supply and demand on trend of raw materials.
11. Forecasting trend of price of raw materials.
12. Forecasting economic development of business partners, estimation of their threats of bankruptcy.
