Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

In this subject students will meet with application of statistics methods in analyse and evaluation of chemical, mineralogical, biotechnological and environmental data which is important part of waste management.

Teaching methods

The students of this course learn about the application of calculus of probability and mathematical statistics for rating of raw materials and mineral processing and their application in the area of environmental engineering. The students will meet with basic knowledge of data collection and analysis and its application in the laboratory and operational practice at the evaluation of environmental problems and experiments.
