Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
In this subject students will meet with application of statistics methods in analyse and evaluation of chemical, mineralogical, biotechnological and environmental data which is important part of waste management.

Summary
The students of this course learn about the application of calculus of
probability and mathematical statistics for rating of raw materials and
mineral processing and their application in the area of environmental
engineering. The students will meet with basic knowledge of data collection and analysis and its application in the laboratory and operational practice at the evaluation of environmental problems and experiments.

Students will pass 2 credit written tests during a semester.
