Teaching methods

Summary

Reading this course the students will have an overview of current recycling of waste and learn about world-wide classical recycling technologies. Material sources focus on secondary materials and their processing. Theoretical basics of pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical and electrometallurgical processes are followed by recycling technologies of regeneration of selected metals from production, processing and amortization refuse, including the issue of ecotoxicology. syllabus Secondary material sources of non-ferrous metals, their processing - Basics of pyrometallurgical, hydrometallurgical and electrometallurgical processes in recycling technologies - Processing of waste on base of aluminium, tin, zinc and their alloys, hazardous waste with metal content (dry galvanic cells, spent light sources, Ni - Cd batteries, etc.) - Processing of waste on base of copper, lead and their alloys, waste with noble metal content (electrowaste, catalytic converters, anode sludge, etc.) - Ecological and economical aspects of utilization of secondary metallic materials, heavy metals in the individual constituents of the environment, metal limits in water, soil and air. - Recycling of paper - Recycling of waste timber. - Recycling of waste from the chemical industry. - Recycling of metal scrap. - Recycling of car wreckage. - Recycling of ash. - Recycling of used car batteries. - Recycling of used electronic equipment. - Recycling of used industrial oils.

Subject syllabus:

- Druhotné surovinové zdroje neželezných kovů, jejich úprava - Základy pyrometalurgických, hydrometalurgických a elektrometalurgických procesů v recyklačních technologiích - Zpracování odpadů na bázi hliníku, cínu, zinku a jejich slitin, nebezpečné odpady s obsahem kovů (suché galvanické články, vyhořelé světelné zdroje, Ni - Cd baterie, . . . ) - Zpracování odpadů na bázi mědi, olova a jejich slitin,odpadů s obsahem ušlechtilých kovů (elektroodpad, autokatalyzátory, anodové kaly ...) - Ekologické a ekonomická hlediska využití druhotných kovonosných surovin, těžké kovy v jednotlivých složkách životního prostředí, limity kovů ve vodách, půdě a ovzduší. - Recyklace papíru - Recyklace odpadů z těžby dřeva. - Recyklace odpadů z chemického průmyslu. - Recyklace kovových odpadů. - Recyklace autovraků. - Recyklace popela. - Recyklace použitých autobaterií. - Recyklace opotřebovaných elektronických zařízení. - Recyklace opotřebovaných průmyslových olejů.
