Summary

The course provides general information on the characteristic properties of natural waters. It acquaints with physical and chemical properties of water components. Sensory properties of water are mentioned. The following are the most important metals and non-metals occurring in waters. Attention is also paid to groups of organic substances in waters. The course also contains information about microbiological and hydrobiological properties of water.
