Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the processes of pre-project and project preparation in the building industry, to acquaint them with the content and standards of partial parts of project documentation and methods of price and cost determination in construction.

The course aims to teach students to work with the project documentation, with procedures and methods of project processing for restoration of brownfields.

Subject syllabus:

1. Basic concepts (architecture, construction, building, building, pre-project preparation, project preparation, construction phase, FM, etc.). 2. Surveys of pre-project preparation (surveys of natural conditions, surveys of technical and transport infrastructure, special surveys, survey of conditions for construction, etc.). 3. Survey of pre-project preparation (building-historical survey, building-technical surveys, building-architectural surveys, etc.). 4. Focusing on the current state of construction and territory. 5. Preliminary feasibility study and feasibility study (Feasibility study) and their essentials. 6. Structure and importance of the building program including the approximate THU calculation. 7. Structure and pricing of design and engineering works (Honorary Order of ČKAIT and ČKA, building standards). 8. Meaning, scope and content Documentation for issuing a decision on the location of a building, for issuing a decision on the change of land use, for issuing a decision on the change of influence of the use of a building on the territory. 9.
