Summary

The course deals with wastewater treatment by biological methods. It is based on the theory of aerobic and anaerobic cleaning. Modern methods of nutrient removal are introduced. Great attention is paid to sanitation, processing and use of sludge.

Compulsory literature:

Practical wastewater treatment. Hoboken: Wiley, 2006. ISBN 0-470-06792-6.
