Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The objective of this course is to introduce students to the economic and managerial principles specific to water management organizations. Students will learn to analyze the economic aspects of water management, including market mechanisms, legislation, costs, and revenues, and familiarize themselves with financial and managerial tools necessary for effective management of water management organizations.

Summary

This course focuses on the economics and management of water management organizations, with an emphasis on key economic concepts, market mechanisms, and financial management. Students will explore the organization of public administration and water law procedures, legal aspects of water management, sanctions, and offenses in the field. Additionally, the course covers cost and revenue analysis, capital and asset structure of enterprises, and strategic management. The course also addresses managerial skills, the profile of a manager, and modern approaches to management in the field of water management.
