Summary

Knowledge of basic processes of the treatment of municipal and industrial waste waters. Water-it´s meaning (importance), kinds of water. Mechanical, biological (aerobic and anaerobic) and physic-chemical (precipitation, flotation, filtration, extraction, neutralisation, oxidation, reduction, absorption, desorption,...) methods of waste water treatment. Treatment of sewage sludge. Legislation.
