Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students will learn the basics of landscape ecology and landscape function of agricultural and forestry elements in the landscape. Further benefits and skills of graduates of the course is a practical introduction to various sources of data and information in agricultural and forestry practices. Students gain practical perspective on the issues of forestry and agriculture in the landscape. They are able to present the results of individual work and learn how to search for sources of information and the processing of this research.

Subject syllabus:

1. Zeleň sídel - členění a význam. Zeleň volné krajiny - členění a význam. Funkce trvalé zeleně v krajině. Trvalá zeleň mimolesní, členění, funkce a význam. Ochrana lesní a mimolesní trvalé zeleně. 2. Vegetační stupňovitost v ČR (Zlatník, Skalický), skupiny typů geobiocénů. 3. Les - funkce lesa, členění lesa podle intenzity lidského vlivu. Typologie lesů, lesní typologická mapa. Historie vývoje lesa v ČR. Hospodářské způsoby při úpravě lesů. Lesní hospodářský plán. Přirozené lesní oblasti. Lesnictví v krajině, vlivy lesnictví na krajinu. 4. Zemědělský půdní fond. Komplexní průzkum půd, bonitační informační systém, BPEJ. 5. Zemědělství v krajině, vlivy zemědělství na krajinu. Alternativní zemědělství. 6. Kostra ekologické stability. Stupně ekologické stability, biochora, STG. 7. Lokální územní systém ekologické stability. Regionální územní systém ekologické stability. Nadregionální územní systém ekologické stability. 8. Pozemkové úpravy. 9. Krajinné plánování - metodika a význam. 10. Trvale udržitelný rozvoj v lesnictví a zemědělství. 11. Ekologická únosnost v krajině. 12. Krajinný ráz - charakteristika, kategorie, význam.
