Familiarity with the basic concepts of waste management, waste legislation, the basic problem, characteristics of individual types of waste and waste treatment technologies.

Summary

Subject disseminate students with basic concepts in the field of waste management. Student gets an overview of the major legislative requirements of waste management, as well as the various types of waste and the basic methods of waste disposal such as landfilling, biological methods and physical-chemical methods of waste treatment.
