Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

To acquaint students with the basic knowledge of mining technology and minerals processing, the acquisition of several base metals from ores from the historical perspective to the present. Understand the mining and processing of raw materials as a separate industry. The subject also provides students with the subsequent processing and use of materials, the impact of mining on the surrounding landscape. The student gains knowledge of the raw material base CZ.

Summary

Educational subject Production technology is conceived not only as an introduction to the study of a given problem, the more detailed study of which is a part of vocational subjects in higher years, but also an introduction to the study of the whole field. Knowledge of the issue of a particular production technology from the point of view of the overall utilization and utilization of a particular technology in extraction and treatment of raw materials, their effective material and energetic transformation. Identify different approaches, gauge and find the most appropriate solution for a specific issue of the technology. Ability to get information for work experience, show a general overview and evaluate the issue. Compare individual approaches and compare them with practice. Ability to solve individual tasks individually. Ability to communicate (active spoken and written speech), master professional terminology. Requirements for students are complex in character. Lectures can also be carried out in the field in the form of field exercises on production technologies related to the subject's preview.
