Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The student who completes the course should be able: - to define and apply basic information and knowledge about building materials used in water construction, transport construction and structural engineering - to prepare, defend and describe simple project documentation for a house.

Summary

This subject gives the basic knowledge about constructions and land buildings and objects related (water structures, transportation etc.) - building concretes and currently applied constructions in constructional engineering, - steel and wood constructions, - construction documentation, - structural system of a building, - chimneys, stairs, building roofs, - road body longitudinal and transversal section, drainage, formation, composition of road construction, road design, - railway constructions and airports, - water management buildings.

Průběžná kontrola znalostí studentů během semestru je prováděna následujícím způsobem: 1) kontrola zadaných úkolů pro zpracování semestrálního projektu, vždy v jednotlivých cvičeních; 2) napsání závěrečného testu v posledním cvičení.

Subject syllabus:

The subject offers the basic knowledges about structures and properties of the terrestrial and related structures (water service, motoring etc. ). - Building materials and structures, usually used in building, - Steely and woody structures. - Building documentation. - Construction systems of buildings. - Bricked, monolithic, prefab walls. - Chimney. Stairs. Buildings roofing. - Longitudal and transverse section through structure. Drainage.Earth body. Roadway structure and its constitution. - Railway constructions and airport. - Water service constructions
