Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject Mechanical Activation is to define technologies which will prepare raw materials for further processing or final treatment. Interpretation of the gained information will permit evaluation whether the raw material or waste may be processed or if more preparatory operations will be needed.

Summary

The course comprises of preparatory technological processes of crushing and grinding. Those processes serve for the preparation of material charge for the preparation plant. The next process of sizing is used for the pre-processing as well as the final processing of mineral resources. The individual principles of preparatory processes are complemented with technological information, structural designs of machinery and equipment used in material dressing.
