Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
This subject deals with the ways of evaluating data to determine the treatability of primary and secondary raw materials. Students will get through this subject a comprehensive overview of methodologies assessing the effectiveness of raw material processing.

Summary
The course of “Rating of Technological Processes” focuses on the information
on rating methods of data obtained in the course of mineral resources
processing. Students will be acquainted with the construction of a
dressability HR-curve and M-curve and cumulative curves of dressability.

Studentům budou v průběhu cvičení zadávány samostatné úkoly, ve kterých budou sami počítat výnosy, popelnatosti a sestrojovat křivky upravitelnosti.

Subject syllabus:
1. HR-curves of dressability
2. Construction of a basic dressability curve
3. Calculation of values needed for the construction of points of dressability HR-curves
4. Reading of yields, ash content and density from HR-curves
5. Graphic representation of curve points of average ash content of floating and sink fractions
6. M-curve of dressability
7. Construction of a dressability M-curve
8. Design of an auxiliary scale for ash content reading from the dressability M-curve
9. Reading of yields, ash content and density from the dressability M-curve and from the floating fraction yield density curve
10.Validity of readings from dressability HR-curves and dressability M-curve
11.Rating of coal dressability based on dressability curve readings
12.Cumulative curves of dressability
13.Calculation of separation product yields based on the results of floating analyses
14.Calculation of yields from yield additive equations, balance sheet equations of fraction quantity and balance sheet equations of ash content
