Subject syllabus:

The subject occupy with natural conection water circulation, presence and water runoff, mutual impact hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and hydrometry. Includes also the elemental knowledge of climatology, meteorology. Hydrology. 1. Hydrology as science, the elemental terms, the importance and development. 2. The elemental climatic factor of water circulation, formation and characteristics river system, characteristics river basin, geomorphology attribute of river valley, river bed. 3. Method of working – this way of observation and evaluation hydrology process, frequency of surpass (symmetrical and asymmetrical), attitude to complex monitoring statistical line hydrological assessment (compensation hydrology lines, harmonious analysis). 4. River level and her variation – water condition a and measure instruments and data processing. 5. Measurement stream flow, mathematical and graphical analysis of stream flow rate. River regime, type of river regime. 6. Long term average river stream flow rate. 7. Extreme river stream flow rate, their assessment, maximal and minimal river stream flow rate. Calculation of these monitoring data. 8. Information and forecast of water level (forecast service, warning service). Artificial change stream flow (change in the process retence basin, during flood stream flow passage basin, transformation flood waves as a result of river training). 9. Movement sediments, floating particles, instrument measurement. The rule of movement sediments and floating particles and their monitoring and analysis. Calculation of stream flow rate of sediments. Glacial phenomen in river. Climatology. 11. Precipitation – formation. Type of precipitation, measurement. Time and square distribution of precipitation. 12. Air humidity – characteristics, measurement. Relative humidity. 13. Air temperature. Measurement. Day and annual cycle of air temperature. Psychrometer tables. 13. Evaporation – evaporation out of water level, evaporation out of snow and of ice. Evaporation out of soil. Transpiration. Measurement. 14. Determination water balance of choise area by direct method. 15. Macroclimate, mezoclimate, microclimate. Climate characteristics in Czech republic. Atlas of climate Czech republic – characteristics of choise area.
