Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Course objectives: To provide fundamental information and knowledge about processing of dust removal and gas cleaning from anthropogenic air pollution. The accent is given on separating device, dust collecting device, air pollution control equipment, gas separator, technique for air pollution measurements, air pollution, monitoring and modelling the spread of air pollution.

For present students are necessary submit 2 semester projects: - calculation of emission amount from the individual source and comparison with emission limit and - model calculation of air pollutants dispersion in atmosphere. For distance students are necessary submit 1 semester project: - calculation of emission amount from the individual source and comparison with emission limit.
