Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Cílem předmětu je uvést studenty do disciplíny zabývající se problematikou minerálních biotechnologií, předmět je zaměřen na základní aspekty biotechnologií v těžbě rud včetně zpracování nerostných surovin a odpadů z těžby. Předmět podává informace o produkci biologicky aktivních látek živými organismy a jejich uplatnění v oblasti minerálních biotechnologií při získávání a úpravě nerostných surovin s ohledem na ochranu životního prostředí. Získané znalosti jsou východiskem pro optimalizaci a řízení bioprocesů s využitím základních znalostí fyziologických charakteristik mikroorganismů.

Summary
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the discipline dealing with mineral biotechnology. The course provides information on the production of biologically active substances biotechnological methods, which are used to protect the environment. Particular attention is paid to methods and applications in the field of mineral resources. Acquired knowledge is the basis for optimization, measurement and process control.
