To obtain practical experience of hydrometry river. To get hydrological and meteorological measuring in co-operation of Czech Hydrometeorogical Institute.

Summary

The hydrometry of the rivers with the prismatic profile and with variable profile (the river Moravka, the river Porubka) according the method of hydrometry. The using of the indirect method - float measuring. The egineering calculations of the rate of flow. The excursion of Czech Hydrometeorogical Institute in Ostrava.

Subject syllabus:

Hydrometry of rivers. Methods of choice measure profile. The choice of measure profile of lowland floodplain river (as Pustějovský small river, river Odra). The choice of measure profile of branching submontane river (as river Morávka). Training with hydropropeller for measurement. Own measurement. Measurement surface rate of river with method of float. Report of measurement stream flow rate, his analysis. Calculation practice. Visit to Hydrometeorology Institute,"meteorological outsite sitting" description function particular instruments (mechanical – registry instruments, digital instruments). Climatology report. Analysis data set.
