The course is devoted to the provides of geochemistry. Study of migration of chemical elements in nature and environment is based on the properties of chemical elements and mineral phases. The course includes lithogeochemistry, hydrogeochemistry and environmental applications of geochemistry, The practical training includes geochemical maps, sampling and analysis of geochemical materials and processing of geochemical data.

Lectures: The basic geochemical concepts. Geochemical background. Geochemical anomalies. Klark. Geochemical dispersion. Elemental associations. Marker elements. Geochemical classification of elements. Internal factors of geochemical migration. External factors of geochemical migration. Geochemical barriers. Geochemistry of the lithosphere. Geochemistry of natural waters. Geochemistry of the atmosphere. Natural radioactivity elements. Biogeochemistry. Biogeochemical cycles of major organogenic elements. Biogeochemical migration of minor and trace elements. Organic geochemistry. Remote transfer of pollutants. Geochemistry of the landscape. Tasks and application of environmental geochemistry. exercise: Sampling methods of geochemical materials - litogeochemistry of soil. Sampling methods of geochemical materials - hydrogeochemistry, river sediments, biogeochemistry, atmogeochemistry. Geochemical maps, scale geochemical work.
