Knowledge rendered after completion of the course: Do the themes of which have been prepared outline of the subject. Inputs of pollutants into the individual components of the environment, transport, environment and its influence, transformation. Skills rendered after completion of the course: They can present the results of individual work and learn the basics of searching information sources and processing in the form of research.

Summary
Entrances of pollutants to the single components of environment, transport in environment and his interferences, transformations. Influences pollutants on quick organisms and contrivance these influences. Risk rating connected with present pollutants in life environment. Possibilities restricted entry of pollutants to the environment and their elimination from environment. Basic group pollutants in single components of environment. Method research and monitoring pollutants.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Students have to discussed problems of chemical pollution of the environment and monitoring of pollutants. Basic concern is focused on the pollution of north part of the silesian region. Students also have to work up final report based on research project concerning on soil and water pollution in different fields.

1. The inputs of pollutants into individual components of the environment, transport, environment and its influence, transform pollutants.
2. Impact of pollutants on living organisms and the mechanisms of these effects. Options limit the input of pollutants into the environment and their
elimination from the environment.
3. Global Monitoring - principles, methods and systems.
4. Remote survey - basics and concepts.
