Subject syllabus:
1. The history of Cleaner Production (CP) worldwide and/or in CR
2. Legislative obligations in CR in CP – waste legislation, IPPC, The National CP Programme, The State Environmental Policy
3. Process of CP implementation in industrial plant – preliminary assessment (total input/output analysis)
4. Planning and organisation of CP in the enterprise - team formation and project control
5. The analysis of material and energy flows in selected area – methods, sources of information
6. The generation of variants for solving the problems - brainstorming
7. Feasibility study – assessment of variants (technical, environmental, economical)
8. Realisation of variants – conditions, methods
9. Assessment of project results after realisation, feedback, maintaining of project results
10. Application of CP in regional measure – city projects, Ecoprofit
11. Application of CP in non-production organisations – hotels, schools, hospitals
12. Application of CP to city/region control
13. Economical consequences of CP project – costs and benefits, environmental accounting, application to EMS
14. UNEP, UNIDO and their input to development and dissemination of CP
