Subject syllabus:

1. Areas and sections, including issues of Irrigation, drainage, meaning and purpose, assumptions, conditions, influences, links to conservation and water management in landscape, agricultural and forestry management, the possible negative effects, historical development. 2. Soils and water regime, basic soil properties (formation and development), hydrological, climatic, pedological, territorial and economic conditions and influences - examining documents. 3. Dewatering of soils - causes and characteristics of waterlogging and methods drainage (biological, hydromelioration), the effects and benefits (physical, biochemical, biological, economic), possible negative effects, theoretical analysis of drainage - drainage of surface runoff, reducing groundwater degree of drainage. 4. Calculation of runoff (surface and underground drainage - the formulas and methods, precipitation and seepage rates), calculating and determining the depth and track drainage (influences, methods, formulas). 5. Main drainage systems - protection against foreign waters, drainage waste drainage channels (adjustment of agricultural and forestry flow adjustments, collecting tanks, hydraulic calculation channels). 6. Detailed drainage equipment - drainage ditches, drainage, drainage (structure, types and design, hydraulic calculation), special methods drainage. 7. Special drainage construction - drainage pumping stations (pumps, installation, drive configuration), channel and dike construction (degrees, slides, locks, drain facilities, construction to convert the water), construction of a detailed drainage (culverts and crossings, outlets, manholes, pits). 8. Implementation of drainage construction - surveying and exploration work, drainage project, the drainage earthworks, building works (fortifications, planning, laying drains, etc..), the use and operation of drainage structures. 9. Watering the soil - the content and tasks of irrigation (the importance and need), assessment of dry (conditions, water regime, water consumption by plants, causes, incidence, signs) types and methods, effects, historical development. 10. Analysis Mode - general documentation (agro - economic, climatic, hydrological, pedological, fytologické), calculation of irrigation quantity (total quantity of the dose), loss of water during irrigation (on irrigated area, the supply and distribution). Irrigation waste water. 11. The main irrigation equipment - water resources for irrigation (types, features, analysis mode), sampling of irrigation water supply and distribution, waste facilities. 12. Detailed irrigation equipment - irrigation spraying, soaking, heats up and drains. 13. Irrigation construction and objects - pumping station (pump types, layout, drive and installation), objects to guide the flow of transfer and transport, flow measurement and stabilization. Construction and operation of irrigation (survey, design, implementation, use and maintenance). 14. Economic - technical adjustments in soils - the purpose and meaning, relationship to water protection, methods and procedures (division of land, biological reclamation, windbreaks, etc.). Soil erosion - the types and symptoms, ways and methods of implementation. Torrent - meaning and purpose, gravity and flow adjustment. 15. Ponds and reservoirs purpose - types, purpose and meaning, division, conditions, layout and technical solutions (1st Areas and sections, including issues of Irrigation, Drainage, meaning and purpose, assumptions, conditions, influences, links to conservation and water management in landscape, agricultural and forestry management, the possible negative effects, historical development. Practice: Erosion vulnerability assessment project area - the sloping analysis, assessment of the degree of erosion hazard areas, the predominant type erize assessment, design of erosion control measures in the area. Evaluation of drought, irrigation amount of calculations needed.
