Subject syllabus:

Protecting and Landscaping - influences and relationships in the amelioration, treatment and streams flow, drainage and irrigation, protected areas, human influence on the landscape. 2. Soil and its water regime, basic soil properties (formation and development), hydrological, climatic, pedological, land and economic conditions and influences, the examining documents. 3. Technical - economic treatment of soil - meaning and purpose, methods and processes (structure and organization of land, windbreaks, relationship to the landscape), agri - technical adjustment (position location cultures, saving soil structure, agro-processing, ensuring the soil moisture). 4. Reclamation of soil - compaction and foaming, sluicing, soil purification, reclamation of drained soils - sands and gravel pits, peat bogs and swamps, restoration and establishment of pastures, planting and maintenance of cultivated plants and vegetation. 5. Reclamation of land after mining - water and biological (drop area, heaps and dumps, tailing ponds). 6. Erosion soil - occurrence and characteristics, types and signs of erosion, the effects and consequences, the development of hydrographic networks, theoretical analysis of erosion - causes and influencing factors, the erosion area (population supercritical, wind erosion). 7. Methods of erosion protection - technical adjustments (securing potholes, ravines, landslides), modification of surface rainfall runoff, soil plant cover - crop rotation, strip cultivation, grassland protection, infiltration and shading the forest belt, blanket afforestation, the process of implementation, maintenance and operation. 8. Torrents - catchment treatment (methods of construction and technical solutions dams, sills, steps and slides, flow modification (modification of the trough, its fortifications, planting in the landscape), the implementation of obstruction of buildings, protection headwater areas. 9. Protecting of the sloping area - origin, causes and consequences, research and monitoring, and methods of protection, solutions and technical equipment, biological methods of calculating the sliding surfaces. 10. Principles of ichthyology and limnobiologie - hydrobiology pond, pond water division, types and properties of cultivated fish, quality requirements and physical properties of water depending on the type of fish, water and nutrition trophy fish abundance, species composition, disease. Fisheries Organization. 11. Ponds - design and uspřádání, structural solutions (dams, shores, bottom), objects (water supply, drain, subscriptions, overflows), protection against pollution and finish quality, hydrological data. 12. Management of water in ponds - the need for water and flushing water losses (evaporation, however, leakage), freezing lakes, clogging and mud logging, handling and operating systems. 13. Ponds - water regime of tanks, hot water pond (carp rearing, fish farming side), cold-water fish farming (raising trout and other fish), intensive fish farms (in cages, silos), breeding waterfowl, fish in water flows. 14. Dewatering of soils and the use of drainage systems - the causes and characteristics of waterlogging, drainage ways and methods (biological, hydromelioration), the effects and benefits (physical, biochemical, biological, economic), possible negative effects. 15. Watering the soil and the use of irrigation systems - the content and tasks of irrigation (importance and need), assessment of drought occurrence (conditions, water regime, causes, incidence, characteristics), types and methods, effects, historical development. Water resources irrigation, types, properties, analysis mode. Practise: Processing and presentation of seminar paper on an assigned topic. Field exercises. Determination of selected tree species.
