The target of the subject is acquainting of students with Environmental Impact Assessment process and its application in the Czech Republic.

Natural and anthropogenic factors are influencing environmental quality.
Social, economical, and ecological aspects of assessment. Methodology of
assessment among industry, power supply, mineral raw material mining, traffic
systems, agriculture and environment. Environmental impact assessment. Cross-
point matrix of effects, criterions catalogs – Fuller triangle. Legal form of
EIA procedure in USA, Europe and Czech Republic. Documentation, expert’s report
and public hearing according to legislation of the Czech Republic.
