Summary

The aim of the course is to provide comprehensive information on available remediation technologies, to outline some new trends and innovative approaches to cleaning contaminated sites. Old ecological burdens at industrial sites, chemical warehouses, accidental accidents and spills are a constant threat to the environment. Efforts to eliminate and correct them are evident in all developed societies. Removal is expensive and in many cases very difficult to solve.
