Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with issues of establishment, maintenance and protection of vegetation in settlements and in the rehabilitated areas.

Summary

Syllabus : The importance of vegetation in landscape and in cities. Establishing vegetation - definition. The issue of establishment vegetation and vegetation elements urbanized area and landscape. Annuals, biennials, perennials, shrubs, vegetation and container elements in the design - technology establishment, cultivation systems, maintenance care., Shrubs and trees - hedgerows, line and surface vegetation - ways of creating, establishing surface (furrows) shrub planting, maintenance of care. Spot planting trees. Green Curtain. Transplanting mature trees. Maintenance Projects - content and methods of processing, evaluating costs, intensity class maintenance, cost optimization, managing green. Analysis of work operations, finishing and development services. Cultivation - the definition of content, materials design. Tenders - preparation and requirements for quotation on the establishment and maintenance of garden work.
