Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The objective of the subject is to learn more about individual processes used in the treatment of wastewater. To provide a general overview of processes used in treatment of industrial wastewater, incl. physical, chemical and biological processes. Individual methods are confronted in respect of possible use for removal of various types of pollutants. Emphasis is placed on technology and hydrology calculations of wastewater treatment plants. The subject also deals with wastewater sludge processing and methods used to increase capacity of wastewater treatment plants.
