Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of this course is to increase knowledge of students in the field of natural raw material processing. They will specify the individual treatment technologies and separation of mineral resources and also evaluation of these processes. Based on the obtained information, the students will easily understand the problems of treatment and separation of coal, ores, nonmetallic minerals, stones and silicates based on the requirements of customers.

Summary

For graduates of related sections, study of treatment and processing of mineral raw material: theoretical and fundamental principles of grinding, classifying and separation procedures, methodology of classification, treatment of raw materials, sharpness and effictivity of separation. Technological advances of treatment of cokeable and energetical coal, ore, non-ore materials and stones. Principles of basic procedures technology of silicates. Expanded study of theoretical aspects of processing of raw material separation for graduates of mineral processing section.
