Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

An aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the human activity on hydrosphere -surface and ground water cycle in a regional and global scale.

Teaching methods

Individual consultations

Summary

The subject is focused on different human activities on hydrosphere, especially production and constitution of wastewaters. Wastewaters are divided according to the type of anthropogenic aktivity. Major compounds in different types of wastewaters, their physical and chemical properties and methods of their analytical determination are characterized. The subject is also focused on convention and modern technologies for their removal.
