Questions of water conservation as a common property. Complex activity system of quality protection, quantity as well as water and hydrosphere hygienic unexceptionability. Outlines, water conservation problems, and its methods of technical, organizational and legislative resolution. Education, economic instruments and their mutual bindings. Present enactment, supposed modifications.

Hydrological situation of the Czech Republic. 6. Water supply in the world. 7. Water treatment, drainage and disposal of waste water. 8. Handling of dangerous substances. 9. Characteristics of water resources. 10. Indicators of environmental pollution of waters. 11. Microbial activity. Requirements for drinking water and bathing water. 12. Issues of eutrophication, water quality, corrective measures. 13. Microbiological investigation of water. 14. Protective zones. Sensitive and vulnerable areas. 15. Ecological aspects of natural water accumulation. Monitoring resources. 16. Flood protection, risk assessment. 17. Water protection tools. 18. Water management, water records. 19. Sanctions in the field of water protection. 20. Water planning.
