Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Biosphere, biogenous elements. Biogeochemical dispersion aureoles and
biogeochemical anomalies. Effects of external factors of geochemical migration
in the biosphere. Biogeochemical barriers. Organic geochemistry – natural
organic matters in soils and sediments. Geochemistry of coal, oil and natural
gas. Measurement and balance of biogeochemical migration. Biogeochemical
cycles of major, minor and trace elements. Trace elements of importance to
plant, animal and human health. Relations between soil and plants, biochemical
processes in soils. Sampling, processing and analysis of biogeochemical
elements. Indication geobotany. Biogeochemical prospection. Applications of
biogeochemistry in agriculture, forestry and environmental protection.
