Summary and definition of software and methods for information systems and projecting. Describe and designed the basic project of ecology upon based on an understanding principles.

Summary

The main goal is to spread knowledge of database and information systems for applications in environmental sciences and landscape modeling. Define models and their use, types of models and basic application methods. The result is a knowledge of procedures in the creation of information structures, models and visualization of spatial landscape models.

Subject syllabus:

1st Geoinformation technology. The definition of GIS. Data, spatial data, geo-data. 2nd Spatial objects, components describe spatial objects., geometric component description. 3rd The structure of GIS applications, general issues of planning and implementation of GIS. 4th The environment for the implementation of GIS in mining practice 5th Map coordinate system works, the transformation of GIS 6th Sources of geoscience data and their format. 7th Methods for collecting spatial data 8th Basic overview of the data available on the market. 9th Presentation of Data in GIS 10th Basic calculations Geostatical 11th Digital terrain model examples of models of landscape 12th Remote Sensing. 13th Analysis of mining data in GIS. 14th Visualization capabilities of GIS.
