Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The objective is to master the theory of physical and chemical processes used in water technology. To described quantity and quantity parameters of specific technology processes on the basis of physical, chemical and mathematical theories and to master all calculations needed for designing and operation of processes used in water treatment facilities.

Theoretical, physical and chemical foundations of water technology processes, suspension settling and suspension thickening, flocculation, coagulation and separation processes. Biological aerobic and anaerobic treatment, treatment of sludge. Technology calculations used when designing necessary facilities.
