Subject syllabus:

Thermal methods of the treatment of waste (incineration, gasification, pyrolysis, plasma processes). Characteristic of thermal usable waste. Calculations of combustion processes. Device for thermal treatment of waste. Products of thermal processes. Device for cleaning of flue gases from thermal processes. Waste incineration with the production of heat and electricity and its influence on the environment. Scheme of device for the energy recovery of waste (incineration). Thermal gasification of waste also focused on the utilization of syngas in cogeneration units. Gasification of waste through anaerobic treatment (biogas station) with the utilization of generated biogas in cogeneration units and its influence on the environment. Pyrolysis of waste with the energetic utilization of generated syngas in cogeneration units. Pyrolysis of waste with the energetic utilization the generated pyrolytic oil in cogeneration units and in chemical industry. Emission from pyrolysis technologies for the energy recovery of tyres, plastics and municipal waste. Legislation in branch of the energy recovery of waste.
