Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student demonstrates knowledge: - Selected waste treatment technologies; - selected technologies for treatment of mineral/secondary raw materials; - Material recovery of waste. Basic skills at the end of the course: - to characterize the possibilities of material utilization of selected types of waste; - to evaluate/identify suitable technologies for the processing of secondary raw materials and waste;

Summary

The course is focused on the deepening of knowledge obtained in previous studies in the field of technology focused on the treatment of waste and secondary materials and raw materials. It provides a comprehensive view of technologies for the material recovery of waste. In the area of material usage, procedures based on the principles of recycling of waste materials or recycling are discussed in detail. Other waste treatment technologies can be placed in the category of disposal / removal of waste, which includes incineration without recovery or low energy use, plasma processes and waste landfill (stored permanently in the country or on the ground). To the necessary extent attention is also paid to the related legislative requirements.

Recycling technology for building waste Processing technology (machines for the recycling of construction waste , types of shredders for various kinds of construction waste sorting line ) Recycling of asphalt roads Recycling technology for the processing of paper, textiles, tires and waste from logging Recycling and recovery of waste glass Recycling and recovery of plastics (PET , PVC , EPS , etc.) Recycling of WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) Possibilities of utilization of fly ash - the technology of production of artificial aggregates from fly ash Recycling of wastes from chemical industry Recycling of precious and non-ferrous metals Recycling of lead waste Possibilities of recycling and regeneration of used oils - Technology Car wrecks - processing technology Municipal waste - sorting lines, extractable components from municipal waste
