Knowledge rendered after completion of the course: Do the themes of which have been prepared outline of the subject. Inputs of pollutants into the individual components of the environment, transport, environment and its influence, transformation. Skills rendered after completion of the course: They have an overview of the most important contaminants and methods of their determination.

The course is focused on the inputs of pollutants into individual components of the environment, their transport and transformation in these components, including its influence. Attention is also paid to the assessment of risks associated with the presence of pollutants in the environment. The possibility of limiting the entry of pollutants into the environment and their elimination from the environment is also addressed. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to focus on methods of research and monitoring of pollutants in individual components of the environment so that the student obtains a comprehensive overview of the most important contaminants and methods of their determination.

Global monitoring - principles, methods and systems; GMES project.
Air monitoring - principles of air monitoring.
The most important air contaminants in connection with the anthropogenic activity, their risks and the possibility of elimination;
Water monitoring - principles of water monitoring.
The most important contaminants in water in connection with the anthropogenic activity, their risks and possibility of elimination.
Soil and biota monitoring - principles of soil monitoring.
The most important contaminants in soil and biota in connection with the anthropogenic activity, their risks and possibility of elimination.
Radiation monitoring - radiation monitoring network; radiation monitoring in connection with mining activities.
