Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- the student demonstrates knowledge of: • basic principles of object-oriented technologies, • UML symbols and diagrams, • principles of object-oriented analysis. - the student is able to: • distinguish how to model a logical or dynamic view of the system, • apply UML language for system modeling, • check the consistency of the created diagrams, • perform a simple system analysis. - the student is able to: • design a procedure for creating a system model using UML, • compile basic UML diagrams.

Summary

The course is an introduction to object technology. Graduated from the familiar with basic concepts and principles of object technology and an overview on each language UML models and they will also get acquainted with the basics of object-oriented analysis.

1) System 2) The basic principles of OOT, objects, classes, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism 3) Introduction to UML 4) Requirements Specification 5) The logical view of the system (class and object diagrams) 6) A dynamic view (state diagrams, and sequence of activities) 7) Implementation view (diagrams packages, components and deployment)
