The aim of the subject is to give information students about principles and methods of spatial analasis, teach them how to select appropriate procedures, applied them, critically assess obtained outputs.

Subject syllabus:

1) Definice, historie, cíle prostorových analýz a typy používaných metod. Přehled statistických prostorových analýz. 2) Body. Popisná statistika pro body. Inferenční statistické testy pro body. Kvadrantové testy. Metoda nejbližší vzdálenosti. K funkce. 3) Modelování prostorového uspořádání událostí (bodů). Transformace bodového vzorku do kontinuálního pole. 4) Analýza vícenásobných typů událostí. 5) Časoprostorové analýzy. 6) Geostatistické metody pro kontinuální pole. Strukturální funkce. Výpočet pro linii, pro plochu. Teoretické typy semivariogramu, způsob interpretace. Lokální odhady - krigování. 7) Metody interpolace. Základní, univerzální, indikátorové a pravděpodobnostní krigování. Simulační postupy. 8) Linie. Statistický popis. 9) Úvod do teorie grafů. Hledání optimální cesty. Dopravní dostupnost. Lokalizační a alokační úlohy. 10) Gravitační teorie. Analýza interakčních dat. 11) Polygony. Plošná interpolace. Problém regionalizace. 12) Vyhlazování areálových dat. Multivariační techniky. Regresní modelování.
