Common principles of project management as effective tools for management of changes, that are applicable without respect to the branch. Introduction to the field of knowledge with the range similar to other specialized universities. Explanation of philosophy, tools and techniques of project management. After passing the course students will be able to propose, plan, prepare the project and manage the simplest projects.

Subject syllabus:

1. System approach in management. System and its characteristics. 2. Project management fundamentals. 3. Project life cycle and management processes for a project. 4. Human resource and organization structures in project management. Project stakeholders, team and project manager. 5. Project initialization and definition, feasibility study and the selection of projects. 6. Project management plan (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, ...) 7. Realization, controlling, closing of project. 8. Logical framework for project management. 9. Project management applications. 10. Time controlling methods.

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Attendance at lectures is not mandatory; study materials are available in LMS Moodle. Participation in the exercises is not mandatory, but it is necessary to complete all tasks assigned by the trainer. The exam will take place face-to-face on the dates listed for the subject at IS Edison.
