This subject is focused on introduction of basis modelling and simulation. Types of models. Model identification. Modelling methods. Model verification. Next it goes through applications of modelling and simulation in geosciences.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Written test/tests focused on verification of knowledge gained at seminars. Written and oral exam.

Mandatory attendence participation: 70% attendance at seminars.

Show history

Conditions for subject completion and attendance at the exercises within ISP: Lessons in form of self-study, with on-line consultation with lecturer. Attendance of seminars according to student’s possibilities. The attendance can be substituted with individual project and processing of 4 seminar tasks, which should be hand in until end of the examination period. Written test should be done at the end of semester too (personally). All study materials are available in lms.vsb.cz system. The exam must take place personally.
