Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Within the subject are students who are obliged to use and combine the knowledge gained in the previous studies of the GIS subjects. Students are led to the complex thinking about the sphere of action of the design, planning and implementation of GIS/GIT in organizations including technological, organizational, and law aspects.

Summary

The review of planning and project design of GIS and other GIT. Common principles of construction and maintenance of GIS application, methodology of economical evaluation of GIS application, standardization issues, quality management and project management. Case studies.
