Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of theoretical and practical informatics. Practical knowledge will not be focused on any particular operating system.

Summary

After completing this subject students receive a general overview of the field of information science. An introduction to topics as computing devices hardware, operation systems, computer networks, electronic publishing, theory of graphs or computer graphics is provided among athors.
