Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student demonstrates knowledge: - reason and neccessity of precise processing of GNSS measurements - available software in studied area - differences between a network solution and processing data from a single receiver, advantages and disadvantages of both strategies - influence of troposphere and ionosphere on GNSS signals, quantification of these influences - characteristics of automatic processing Studen is able to: - process real GNSS data using Precise Point Positioning method and network solution based on double-differenced observations - optimize processing in order to estimate correctly parameters of troposphere and ionosphere - realize long-term routine processing in order to obtain time lines of precise coordinates - automate the whole process of GNSS data processing

Summary

Subject is focused on the field of very precise processing of data from Global navigation satellite systems. Besides introducing into fundamental knowledge and skills the attention is paid to processing data from a single receiver or from a whole network of stations, determining atmospheric and ionospheric parameters from GNSS signals and also to the issue of automatic data processing and long operative run of such applications.
