Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student is proving followed knowledge: • Basis of law in geodata processing, • How to proceed further with publishing his data and using data and software, which were created by another person (or from another owner) • Hazards and wiles, which can occur during using Interned in geodata processing or storing in network • Possibilities of data, information systems, web servers and application security against abusing of it Student know how to: • Find suitable way of data processing comfortable with law and ethic Student is able to: • Find and use appropriate legislative documents, which are necessary to solve specific situations during data processing • Identify safety risks and opportunities for abuse of data, information systems, web servers and applications; prospectively he can suggest suitable way of their securing

Lectures

Summary

The subject is aimed on enumeration of basic knowledge of legal regulations of data processing. It describes law protection of data in information systems and information systems security. It adverts to possibility of abuse of data, information systems, web servers and applications and processing methods. Then follow the overview of law and technical security. There is presented how to proceed further with publishing his data and using data and software, which were created by another person (or from another owner) Furthermore there go through ethic aspects like ethics codes, aspects of take data over, it´s modification and publication. It refers to standards for geodata processing too. It is primary focused on legislative in Czech Republic. But there is also added necessary minimum in international context.
