Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of professional practice is to enable the student stay in business, government institution or in any other type of organization, whose activities have relationship with geoinformation and uses geoinformation technologies. In the course of theoretical training in their discipline a student for some time encounters with the environment and activities which in the course of studies systematically prepared.

Summary
During practical lessons in a suitable workplace, student will get to know an organization structure and procedures of the establishment dealing with geoinformation technologies and actively participate in activities of the hosting organisation.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
After completing the internship, the student prepares a final report, which summarizes the course and benefits of the internship. Based on the approval of this report, the successful completion of the course is confirmed.
