The aim of the course is to teach students the basics of geoinformatics and geoinformation technologies, use them for solving various problems and design appropriate data models to capture the real world.

Metadata, spatial data, geodata. Space, positioning. Time, timing. Feature, components of feature description. Geodata gathering. GIT: GIS, RS, GNSS, DMT, MGIT, geoweb, lidar.
