Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of this subject is to provide students with knowledgw and skills necessary for study of follow on subjects and for research and diseratation theses.

Summary
The course provides basic information on the breakdown of geography, methods
geographic research and geographic data sources. Emphasis is placed on
understanding differences in geographic sub-disciplines, as well as their
common aspects. In more details there are lectured physical geography, especially geomorphology with regard to follow-up for spatial objects (eg
digital elevation model).
