Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to explain the students of Mechanical Engineering Faculty basic issues in the fields of telecommunications and telematics technology with an emphasis on applications in transportation.

Summary

The course represents : Basic concepts of information theory and transmission, transmission basic concepts and values ​​, transmission chain . Properties and types of telecommunications transmission paths . Basic physical quantities used for the evaluation of analog and digital channels. The principles of multiple use of the transmission path. Analog and digital transmission systems . Methods of secure data transmission . Security Classification ways and means of transport security from the perspective of diagnostics and reliability . Telecommunications services. Classification of services. Information systems used in transport. Intelligent transport systems for transport processes.

Basic concepts of information theory, Dining transmission routes, frequency ranges, The rate of transmission, transfer factor, profit, gain, loss, FDM systems, PCM systems, Line codes, Telecommunications services, Intelligent systems for transport processes, Method of measurement variables for intelligent systems, Measuring Chain and signal processing.
