Teaching methods

Summary

In normalization part of the subject the attention is drawn to problems of theoretic preliminary and practical activity and also to introduction and utilization of norms in practice, respectively. In chemometric part the subject was established as an enlargement of knowledge of basic maths course and is connected with the field of probability, statistics and data processing. Main attention is paid to utilization of currently available PC software for chemometric calculations and other applications. Aim of the subject is also (among others) to help students with processing the data measured within the framework of their diploma and other research works.

Subject syllabus:

1. Úvod, definice normalizace a chemometrie, opakování pravděpodobnosti a statistiky. 2. - 4. Základy normalizace (normy v chemické analýze; normy národní a mezinárodní; závaznost norem; tvorba norem, jejich kontrola, oprava a záměna; zavádění mezinárodních norem do norem národních; Evropská komise pro normalizaci - CEN; zabezpečení jakosti v analytické laboratoři). 5. - 6. Třída přesnosti přístroje. Průzkumová analýza jednorozměrných dat. 7. - 9. Analýza malých výběrů. 10. - 11. Analýza rozptylu ANOVA. 12. Regresní analýza. 13. - 14. Kalibrace a optimalizace. Validace. 15. Závěr Náplň cvičení: Pomocí dostupných software, především EXCEL, STATGRAPHICS, ADSTAT atd., procvičit možností chemometrických výpočtů. Program cvičení: 1. Úvod do normalizace a chemometrie, přehled použitelných software, zadání programů. 2. - 3. Cvičení z normalizace. 4. - 5. Software STATGRAPHICS, ADSTAT a další. 6. - 13. Software EXCEL 14. Docvičování a zadání náhradních programů 15. Zápočty, závěr.
